Chiara Boni La Petite Robe is the first Italian fashion label to receive the European Union's Product Environmental Footprint certification. To earn the certification, the label created a consolidated line consisting of eight pieces of clothing: three dresses, a frock, a jumpsuit, a pair of pants, and a shirt. All pieces were made from their signature textile, Eurojersey. The garments were analyzed to determine the environmental footprint throughout their production lifecycle. For example, it was found that the "Melania cocktail dress has the same carbon and water footprint of the production of eight kilos of pasta and 13 liters of wine, respectively."
